Strange reactions
I walked up the little set of steps today. I know it’s not really interesting news, but the real subject of this post is my parent’s strange reaction. They were very excited and discussed how I did it for ages. I really don’t understand. They do it pretty much everytime (occasionally I get them to bump down with me!), so why is it a big thing when I choose to do it too.

Two favourite requests
I love to ask mama to “catcht you”, because when I do she will chase me and throw me around when she gets me. And sometimes I just need “durdles” like when I’ve hurt myself or feel sad. When I ask for them I get squeezed tight in mama’s or Dada’s arms.
18months old or 1 and a half
Today was my birthday, mama and Dada insisted on me sitting on the sofa with them so I could smile before a big flash of blinding light happened over and over.
Then mama and Dada made me stand on the little flat white square, which I usually like to sit on or stand on leaning on the wall. This time I had to stand without leaning and very still. After a little while they clapped and congratulated...

Fun in the Sun
Spent the day in Queen’s Park with mummy. We saw lots of doggies, a bee (which mummy said was busy and so didn’t have time for being tickled), budgies, goats, chickens, a rabbit, a hoover fly and lots of planes.
After a nap, I played with K and his mummy. But I really wanted to play ball with lots of other children. I got a tasty ice cream, but mummy ate loads before I could, though...
I was helping Daddy with the washing this morning
Just be nice to me!
I have 6 teeth trying to poke their way through my gums, so my mouth is in lots of pain. I’m doing the best I can to get through each day and night ignoring the parin. However, if I suddenly decided to scream and cry for no apparent reason or get cross when I wouldn’t usually, please understand that I just need a hug.
Daddy finished putting together a QuadroPlay castle today (he ran out of connectors and had to order more, silly!). Here I am playing on it.
Sofa Day!
I’ve got the sick bug that’s going around, so just spending most of my time sleeping.
I blame mama she should know better was texting my Auntie Laura when my cousins were unwell. Everyone knows that germs get passed on through contact!
Running into people's gardens.
This is my new favourite game. I’ve been playing it for the last few weeks since mama’s been letting me walk home from Lizzie’s.
I go into people’s gardens or run up their garden paths. The aim is to get as far as I can before mama catches me then I go onto the next one.
Today, when mama put me down to walk (she says she has to carry me across the road) I reminded her...
Why don't parents listen?
I’ve been trying to tell mama and Dada that I have more teeth coming through and am therefore in lots of pain to no avail.
Yesterday mama was making dinner when my gums just suddenly really hurt. I was unconsolable, she came in to ‘be with me’ and then when I did not stop picked me up for a little while, but then said “I have to put you down Ada, so I can make the...

Answering questions
I’ve decided that I am now old enough to respond when mummy and daddy ask me simple questions. I like to nod and shake my head or say ‘yes’ to their questions. It’s quite fun because it means they do what I want and not what they want.
Oww Oww Oww
Don’t worry i’m not hurt (i think). I just really love to say oww oww oww, when I can’t put a shape in the sorter or I can’t pick up something that is stuck down etc.
I tried it out for the first time on Friday night and I get such a great response I just can’t stop saying it.

Row row row my boat
This morning i was having a bath with mummy and my noah’s ark, so I thought we could sing ‘row, row, row your boat’. We did it with actions and I enjoyed screaming when we saw the crocodile.
I just did it again a few minutes ago, as I have spent the day sat in a carseat, so decided it’s time to have some fun.
Boo!
I love playing peek-a-boo, but I’ve only just started doing the ‘boo’ part, sometimes without putting my hands fully over my eyes.
I started saying boo! on the way to seeing Jessica (and her mummy and Daddy), but not properly. And now I can say it properly.
It’s most fun when I run around mummy an Daddy’s bed peeping out to say Boo!

A whale of a time
I enjoyed my bath tonight.
I have a whale, which has holes for me to post objects into it. I started by posting in the circle object and then tried the rest. I improved the more I did it.
